Debbie Dove, Director of Operations & CFC

Debbie works as Director of Operations, and she doubles as the Director of Combined Federal Campaign (CFC). Debbie began with our United Way in 1988, so she knows how things work (and how they don't!). Born in Alexandria, Debbie graduated from Holy Savior Menard Central High School. Debbie has graced our United Way staff by filling many roles and wearing a multitude of hats, all while being extraordinarily helpful to the rest of us!

 

Sharon Greiner, Director of Community Investment

As Director of Community Investment, Sharon brings a wealth of experience with nonprofit organizations to bear. She joined our staff in early 2005. Most recently she was employed at the Inner-City Revitalization Corporation or IRC in Alexandria. Other experience stems from a variety of business contexts. With more than a decade of living in Cenla, and significant computer and technical skills, Sharon makes a great addition to our staff!

 

Debbie Jarred, Office Assistant

Debbie Jarred joined us in early 2007 from the Arts Council of Central Louisiana and serves as Office Assistant. She's a longtime Alexandria resident and volunteer.

 

Jack Ready, Director of Campaign and Marketing

Jack Ready joined our staff in October 2007. He ran the employee campaign as a volunteer at the Louisiana Baptist Convention, where he served for 15 years in the business division. Jack's interests include music, and he has served a number of churches in Alabama and Louisiana leading music in worship.

 

Dave Britt, President

President since February 1997, Dave grew up in Baton Rouge and graduated LSU with a BA degree in sociology. He earned Master of Divinity (1980) and PhD (1985) degrees from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, Kentucky, where he worked as Director of Admissions and Student Records, and Adjunct Professor of Church and Community. Dave served the Metro United Way in Louisville as Director of Planning and Research from 1990 to 1997, and then came to Central Louisiana as President of our United Way.
